Everyone Can't Come

Sharing is a beautiful thing. It teaches us how to give without regret and how to be an overall great person.Just like most things in life, sharing can have a negative effect on people as well.

Sharing is sacrificing something that is in your possession and giving it to someone else to possess. It is a display of love, compassion, and faithfulness. When it comes to blessings, you can share those too. It is great to be a blessing to other people when God blesses you.In fact, Proverbs 11:25 encourages us to.

God has a blessing with your name on it.That means he has a blessing just for you. He has been preparing you for your blessing throughout the course of our life.Everything in your life was purposely planned by God to equip you for your blessings.Your prayers, praises, and faith made it possible for you to receive your blessing(s).

I am personally learning to bless people how I can and as much as I can. What I mean by that is, I give people what I can when I can. For example, if my friend and I both needed money for our textbooks and God blessed me with $300- I would not give her all $300.If I gave her all the money I would not be able to buy what I asked God to help me with in the first place, my expensive books. I would offer her half of the money, or buy my books first and give her the remaining money.

I am also learning that no matter how kind you are, there are people that will take advantage of you intentionally and unintentionally. Some people see your generosity and success as a come up, and others depend on your success and generosity and stop putting an effort for themselves. Both intentional and unintentional Take-advantage-of-ers (yes I made that word up) will drain and possibly distract you. This is not me telling you not to bless them, but this is me telling you to be observant and recognize game.

I am a firm believer that God blesses everyone. It may not be now, anytime soon, or how we imagined it. But everyone is and is going to get blessed.

It is great to have a team of people who support you. It is also okay to put some people on and take some people with you. Just be wise in your selection process because Everyone Can't come, Everyone Can't Sit With You, and you Can't Put Everyone on.

If you are like me ( well the old me) you will feel horrible for not being able to help or hinder people. Sometimes you have to put your "N" words to use: "No" and "Nah". You worked hard, ignored distractions, managed your time, sacrificed sleep, worried, took a leap, fasted, and got down on your knees and prayed for your blessing.Ease your mind theirs is coming.

This is something that I have struggled with for a long time. Here is a verse that helps me when this situation occurs.

2 Corinthians 9:7 (NIV)

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Giving is great but if you have to second guess it or have underlying thoughts or motives about it.....Keep your "Gifts" to yourself
